“APG Prize Competition”

Terms and Conditions of Entry
 

1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of the terms and conditions of entry.
 

2. The competition is conducted by Australian Pacing Gold, PO Box 52, Menangle, NSW, 2568.


3. The competition commences on 14 November 2011 and closes at 5pm on 27 January 2012.


4. Entry is open to residents of Australia over 18 years of age. Employees and Directors of Australian Pacing Gold and their relations are not eligible to enter.


5. To enter the competition, the entrant must complete the “APG Prize Competition Quiz” online on the APG website (www.apgold.com.au).  There is no entry fee.


6. Entrants are permitted a maximum of one entry per person.  In the event that an entrant makes multiple attempts to complete the "APG Prize Competition Quiz", only the first entry received will be deemed eligible.


7. To be eligible to win a prize the entry must be correct.  In the event that APG do not receive any correct entries, the nearest correct entries (i.e. those entries with the most number of correct answers) will be accepted into the draw.  All entries become the property of Australian Pacing Gold.


8. The draw will occur at midday on Monday, 30 January 2012 at APG’s offices at 40 Broderick Rd, Corio, VIC, 3214. 


9. The winning entrants will be notified by mail, email or telephone and their names published on the APG website immediately following the draw.


10. Entry into the competition shall be deemed acceptance of these conditions of entry and is also deemed approval for use of the winners names and photographs for publicity purposes.


11. The prizes for the competition consist of 5 sales day sustaining vouchers valued at $990 each.  The terms of use of the vouchers are as follows:
 

  • Each voucher may only be used to make the sales day sustaining payment in respect of a filly purchased at the 2012 Australian Pacing Gold Yearling Sales;
     
  • Each voucher may only be used once;
     
  • Vouchers are non-transferrable, and may not be redeemed for cash;
     
  • Vouchers may not be used to sustain yearlings that are bought back by their vendors;
     
  • In order for the voucher to be validly used by the contest winner, the contest winner must register to bid at the APG Sales, and must be listed as a part-owner of the relevant filly when the transfer papers are lodged with the relevant state controlling body post sale.  Furthermore, the contest winner must remain a registered owner of the filly until at least 31 January 2013;
     
  • In the event that a voucher is not used at the 2012 APG Yearling Sales, it shall become null and void.

APG Prize Competition Quiz

The following quiz relates to horses sold at the APG Sales between 2000 and 2007 (i.e. horses that were between 5 and 12 yrs of age at the end of the last racing season).
