$1 million Australian Pacing Gold 2yo Race Series

There is more to Australian Pacing Gold than selling bloodstock. While other agents simply slam their gavel and carry onto the next lot, we take great pride in making sure your investment is given a chance at reaping a premium return.

That's why Australian Pacing Gold runs the richest sales series and bonus scheme in the Southern Hemisphere for two-year-old pacers.

Graduates from our yearlings sales are eligible to sustain for APG's $1million 2yo Race Series, as well as APG's Gold Bonus Scheme, which sees colts eligible to win a $2,000 bonus for their first win as a 2yo, while fillies are eligible to win up to $6,000 in bonuses, earning a $2,000 bonus for each of their first wins as a 2yo, 3yo and 4yo.

2yo Series

There are two divisions of the 2yo series – one for colts & geldings, and one for fillies.

Both divisions of the 2yo series consist of a single round of $20,000 heats, leading into two semi-finals of $20,000, and culminating in a $307,000 Group One final. First round heats are conducted at three venues (one each in Victoria, NSW and Queensland – subject to nominations), while the semi finals and the final are conducted at a single venue, which rotates between Victoria, NSW and Queensland on a three year cycle.

A series of $10,000 consolations is also run in Victoria, NSW and Queensland (subject to nominations) for horses which failed to progress to either the semi-finals or final.
