Our driving force is the creation of valuable opportunities for breeders to showcase their yearlings and facilitate their sale. Simultaneously, we take pride in offering purchasers the chance to engage with the top-tier future of the racing industry through the acquisition of these yearlings.

Our meticulous planning and preparation culminate in our annual sales events, held at the close of each summer in various participating Australian states. Among them stands Club Menangle (CM), a distinguished Harness Racing entity, represented at our General Meetings by the esteemed CM Chief Executive.

Embodying our Not-for-Profit status, APG operates with a resolute focus on industry growth. Harness Racing Victoria is a statutory body for which the Victorian Minister for Racing is responsible.
Established pursuant to section 39(1) of the Racing Act, 1958, it officially commenced operations as the Trotting Control Board on January 1, 1947.
Harness Racing Victoria’s function is to administer, develop and promote the sport of Harness Racing in Victoria.
Our mission is “to develop a vibrant Harness Racing industry that promotes participation, integrity and racing excellence, grows wagering and other revenue streams and maximises returns to its stakeholders.”
Our goals and key objectives are to create a vibrant and sustainable harness racing industry by:
- Maximising returns to participants and remain a market leader.
- Improving the product and brand.
- Increasing harness wagering turnover and market share.
- Building a business that is stronger and more financially viable.
- Increasing the professionalism of the sport.
Racing WA is the Principal Racing Authority and State-appointed regulator of thoroughbred, harness and greyhound racing in Western Australia.
From Kununurra to Esperance, racing is embedded in the social fabric of every town in which we race with more than 25,00 people involved in our industry across the State.
Racing in WA generates more than $1.3 billion of economic value, almost half of which is generated in regional areas, and sustains more than 10,000 full-time jobs.
Racing is a sport deeply ingrained in WA’s history and culture, with the first recorded thoroughbred race meeting held at South Fremantle in 1833.
