Only one Bonus Certificate will be issued per NSWOA bonus race winning horse and the owner must be over the age of 18.

  1. The Bonus Certificate’s total value is $1,500 (incl. GST) and is valid for 12 months from the date of issue. Upon expiry of the Sales Credit Bonus Certificate any unused value remaining on the Bonus Certificate is forfeited.
  2. The Issue Date for the Bonus Certificate is deemed to be the date on which the holder became entitled to the Bonus Certificate by virtue of their horse winning a NSWOA bonus race.
  3. The Bonus Certificate is not redeemable for cash and cannot be resold or exchanged.
  4. Only ONE Bonus Certificate may be redeemed per horse purchased at the APG Sales.
  5. The $1,500 Bonus Certificate consist of two separate and distinct portions. A maximum of $1,000 may be put towards the purchase of the horse; whilst a maximum of $500 may be used to defray the cost of the series sustaining fee for the APG Race Series.  It is not necessary to use both elements of the Bonus Certificate, however the two elements cannot be used for separate horses.
  6. To be eligible, the holder of the Bonus Certificate must have been the owner or part-owner of the horse that won the Bonus Certificate and must have their name registered in the ownership of the horse purchased at the APG sale.
  7. A Bonus Certificate may not be redeemed against a horse that was either bred or consigned (whether in whole or in part) by the Bonus Certificate holder (e.g. Bonus Certificates may not be used to fund commission payments or sustaining payments on passed-in lots). A Bonus Certificate or part of a Bonus Certificate may not be used to reduce the cost of a ‘non-sale entry’.
  8. APG may cancel the Bonus Certificate, refuse redemption or cancel sales redeemed using the Bonus Certificate if it suspects that the Bonus Certificate is being used fraudulently, in an unauthorized or illegal manner, or it has reason to believe that the Bonus Certificate holder is in breach of these terms and conditions.
