Engaged in tomorrow night’s Australasian Premier Trotting Sale Final in Kilmore, Evas Image will contest her fourth top shelf event.

The Chris Lang-trained squaregaiter registered a second and two thirds from three Group One attempts last season.

Evas Image is the second foal from former topline mare Shes An Image.

Among the best of her crop, Shes An Image captured the 2011 Vicbred Super Series Final for trainer Paul Watson when fillies had to compete against the ‘boys’.

The following season, Shes An Image was transferred to Lang’s stable where she was triumphant in the New South Wales and Victoria Trotters’ Oaks.

As for Evas Image’s pending assignment, the three-year-old faces a tough task from barrier seven.

“The draw has made life very difficult on her,” Lang said. “She’s going to need a lot of luck from there.

“Her three runs this time in have only been fair and she’ll need to step up if she is going to win this.”

Lang will also be represented by Queen Invasion, which is the sole starter from the back row.

The daughter of Muscle Hill has won two of her three starts for the season.

“I’m more than happy with the way she has come back,” Lang said. “This is a step up on what she has been racing, so it will certainly test her.”
