Horses carrying the ‘Jujon’ suffix of retired Brisbane medico Dr John Mammino have enjoyed spectacular success in Queensland for more than four decades.
They include the Group 1 winner Governor Jujon and the classy peformers Commodore Jujon, Magic Jujon and Brigadier Jujon, to mention only a few.
Mammino has a single entry in our upcoming Winter Mix Sale, in the highly promising three-year-old Lone Ranger Jujon.
The gelding is being offered as part of the reduction of his racing stock.
Listed as Lot 41, the son of Rock N Roll Heaven won on debut as a two-year-old in 1:58.7 at Redcliffe in October before being twice unplaced. He was tipped out for several months and is now back in full work.
Lone Ranger Jujon looks certain to be keenly sought after by purchasers as he is eligible for the QBred second win bonus of $7,500 and the third win bonus of $3,000.
The young pacer has the pedigree to back up his obvious racing ability.
Besides being by Rock N Roll Heaven, Lone Ranger Jujon is from a half-sister to the QBred Triad and dual APG Gold Bullion winner Cat King Cole ($159,382) and a member of the same family as the Group winning youngsters Catwalk Beauty ($156,566), Attack Life ($132,832), A Good Chance ($283,901) and Lyrical Genius ($382,427).
Bidding opens on Sunday, August 16 at 12 noon and closes on Monday, August 17 at 5pm. For more information on these and other Lots, check the catalogue and register as a bidder today!
