“Our horses are raised in large, well-maintained paddocks, with their health and well-being prioritised from the very start.

“Our broodmares receive exceptional care throughout their pregnancies, including tailored nutrition, routine hoof care, and ample space to roam.

Charles said they had developed a structured program to ensure the youngsters were user-friendly for their new owners.

“Our yearling preparation spans eight weeks, involving specialised feeding programs, handling, and even photo and video shoots to ensure each yearling is impeccably presented at the sales,” he said.

“By the time they reach the sales ring, our yearlings are well-handled, accustomed to wearing shoes, and confident in loading onto floats. Skills that are often appreciated by buyers.

“A highlight of our preparation is our annual yearling parade. Where buyers come together to view the horses, talk about the sales and appreciate the quality of our yearlings.
