Lauriston Bloodstock (owned and operated by Anne and Bill Anderson) has entrusted the team at APG to handle a small reduction in his numbers, now entered in the 2021 APG NATIONAL MIXED SALE . The sale starts this Friday 16th of July and will finish Sunday the 18th of July. We really appreciate Anne and Bill and all those owners that have supported this very exciting event over the last 4 years.
Lauriston Bloodstock has been consistently amongst the leading vendors at the Melbourne APG Yearling Sales.
The Melbourne APG Sale in February 2018 saw a record result for Lauriston. The regally bred Art Major Filly from Smyrna Duruisseau sold for $160,00 ; a record price for a filly at an APG Sale. She also topped the sale with her price $60,000 greater than any other yearling offered on the day.
The Anderson’s understand the principle that the best way for people to bid with confidence is to set little or no reserves (which is what they have done) and let the market set their true value.
When we spoke to Anne today she went on to say: “Both Lots are broken in and are up for a genuine sale, due to the property being sold, & our desire to have a reduction in numbers. The yearling (Lot 48) has an exceptional temperament and is a lovely pacer.
Lot 60 ( Belora Bromac ) is a Betting Line Filly out of the A4 Artsplace mare Belora Bromac has also broken in very well”.
