Purchased for $47,500 at the 2020 Sydney APG sale, Leap To Fame demonstrated his speed with the fastest time of 1:51 in the 1660-meter heats. With 26 wins in 36 starts and a remarkable $1,478,982 in stakes, Leap To Fame is a testament to the quality of yearling coming through APG sales. Swayzee, acquired for $30,000 at the 2019 APG Sydney sale, led the way in the final heat with a time of 1:52.5, marking his 19th success and elevating his stake tally to $841,514.

In a thrilling $60,000 Cherry City Cup at Young, Max Delight, the top performer from the APG Sydney sale in 2017 at $245,000, outpaced a strong field. Bred by Peter Lewis and owned by Mick Maxfield, Max Delight’s victory took his total earnings to an impressive $884,494, with 24 wins and 29 placings in his career.
Wonderful To Fly Adds 4YO Classic to Her Success at Gloucester Park
Gloucester Park witnessed the excellence of Wonderful To Fly, WA’s champion mare, as she clinched the $125,000 4YO Classic. Bred by Kevin and Annette Charles, this phenomenal mare has accumulated $698,870 from 30 wins in 50 starts, showcasing her resilience and speed on the track.
SA Southern Cross Series Triumphs for Miss Idaho and Delightfull Tammy
In the $30,000 Finals of the SA Southern Cross series, APG sale graduates Miss Idaho and Delightfull Tammy claimed victory in their respective categories. Miss Idaho, offered at the 2022 Melbourne sale by Garry and Melva Graham, demonstrated her prowess. Delightfull Tammy, bred by Bruce and Vicki Edwards’ Durham Park Standardbreds, was snapped up by the Cormack family for $32,000 at the Melbourne sale in 2021.
