Before the 2022 breeding season, the owner of Llowalong Farms, Dr. Kath McIntosh, introduced an exciting incentive for the industry – a $100,000 bonus for progeny of five stallions that stood at her farm that season.

The eligible stallions for this exclusive reward are:

  1. Lather Up
  2. Poster Boy
  3. Pastor Stephen
  4. Raging Bull
  5. Yankee Rockstar

The $100,000 bonus will be awarded to the owner of any eligible progeny that wins a 2-Year-Old Vicbred Final in 2026.

At this weekend’s Melbourne Sale, nine yearlings will be in contention for this incredible opportunity. Here’s a look at them:

Eligible Yearlings

  • LOT 67 – Pastor Stephen × Artistic Cat (Colt)
The first living colt from his dam, featuring a 4×4 cross to the breed-changing sire Valley Victory. As the last lot in the sale, he proves the saying true—sometimes, good things come to those who wait.
