With Average earnings per starter in this country of $59,649 and $90,960 in NA, Rock N Roll Heaven the U4 colt bred by Charles “Cotton” Nash, Julie Nash, Francene Nash and Steve Stewart, are clearly amongst the best performing sires in the southern hemisphere.
This 2010 Horse of the Year and World Champion pacer was born in 2007 at Paris, Kentucky.
He was on-sold 12 months after making $57,000 in the 2008 Lexington yearling sale to the now deceased Frank Bellino of Bronxville, New York.
Frank had a massive following in the sport and was a much loved character that in 2010 also purchased Pet Rock for $60,000.
Rock N Roll Heaven is from the all-conquering U4-Jessie Pepper family which is one of the more famous and well respected families down under. He has a host of winners over the 500k mark in NA as well as 11 here is Australia – it’s a list we expect to grow very fast over the next few years.
