Australian Pacing Gold has announced the details of the Race Series that will be attached to its 2024 yearling sales.

APG Chairman, Robert Marshall, has advised that the Race Series conditions combine a good deal of flexibility while continuing to foster and develop the marketplaces in Western Australia and Queensland.

“Western Australia will have a Series for both 2yo and 3yo pacers courtesy of substantial support from Racing and Wagering WA, while on the east coast, all Series will be for 2yo only.”

“The flexibility of the overall concept will allow any sustained 2yo pacers access to the NSW or Victorian Series, which means that buyers from those states can purchase from any of the four APG sales and race their 2yo where it is convenient for them.”

“Queensland’s race series is advertised as a mixed-sex Final but APG hopes to split that into separate divisions if the numbers allow,” Robert Marshall said.

APG is planning for a 2yo Victorian Trotters Series which will be dependent on the number of nominations.

Applications for APG’s 2024 Yearling Sales will open on the APG Website on 1st July and continue until 31st July 2023.
